Requesting an Official Transcript:

* There are TWO steps in order to request your transcript here at Walton, one step through Naviance and one step in the Records Room here at school.
1. Request your official high school transcript through Naviance:

Log onto your Naviance student account.

Select the COLLEGES tab.

Under COLLEGES select “Colleges I’m Applying To”

Click on “+”, add each college/university, including application information

Click “Add Application”
o If you are applying via the Common App, make sure to match your Common App account to your Naviance account.

2. Then come in the Records Room and sign your transcript card as soon as you have completed the application process. Transcript fee is $2.00 each.
* It is your responsibility to complete BOTH parts of the above process, or transcripts will not be sent.
NOTE: The Counseling Office does not send electronic transcripts through Georgia Futures.

Are you a former Cobb student in need of student records?
Student records are held at the last school attended for approximately two (2) years before they are sent to the Records Center for retention. The Records Center, located at 6975 Cobb International Blvd. in Kennesaw, maintains records including transcripts, of students who have graduated or withdrawn from the Cobb County School District. Students must be 18 years of age or older to obtain records; Parents/Guardians may obtain or authorize the release of records for students under the age of 18.
